Prime Minister Justin“it’s the current year” Trudeau has made his commitment to opening Canada up to more refugees from Syria quite clear since before he won the federal election in October. Not that our so-called Conservatives were barring these persons from entering Canada but Trudeau has increased the intake. Moreover, his government has decreased the number of economic migrants. A major point that internationalists love to bring up is that having an open migration policy will be an economic asset in the future, but clearly Trudeau could care less if his government is purposely cutting the number of migrants who could possibly contribute to the economy.
Among the many new arrivals to Canada are those with mental development issues. It’s a shame that these people have such afflictions but how does it help the economy to have these people coming here? They will only be a burden. Same is true of family reunification programs which see elderly individuals who are not going to be entering the workforce at all coming to our shores. They will receive the benefits of being Canadian without having to have paid into the system. Why even physically and mentally capable incomers are not going to be an economic boon. In the EU the influx of refugees has caused much distress to the local populace; especially women.
The economic argument in favour of allowing large numbers of refugees to come over is often touted by moderate internationalists but, as already mentioned, many will not be contributors to the economy and in fact it is cheaper for safe zones to be created for them in West Asia. Maybe we should ask our great allies the Israelis and the Saudis to help us out by opening their borders. I mean they’d love to give us a break and help refugees right? Right!?
The cult of immigration is a powerful one. This is particularly true of asylum seekers/refugees because well they have so little and we have so much. This sentimentalism is destructive because in a futile attempt to save the world we cripple our working class, add yet further burdens to our welfare system and weaken an already struggling economy. The dominating liberal worldview results in shaming, sentimentalism and other forms of emotional blackmail in order to get people to accept the importing of thousands of asylum seekers regardless of economic, social or other issues.
And there are no depths internationalists won’t delve to. They liberally use children, the mentally handicapped, elderly and other vulnerable groups in order to tug at the heart strings and stop people from thinking rationally.
Thankfully, I notice that there is a growing number of dissenting voices – at online at least – but most of this is directed at the current crisis involving asylum seekers or illegal immigrants. We need people to become more aware of the problems with immigration in general. According to the Fraser Institute in Canada immigrants, “take $30 billion more a year in programs and services than they give back to the economy.”
Even before the recent invasion Europe had a problem with non-White migrants and Muslims in particular; even those born and raised there. Marseille, Malmo and other cities with large numbers of Muslims have major crime problems. No-go zones which police are not allowed to enter because of foreign violence is well attested. So much for building strong communities. Integration has proven to be a major problem. In Sweden, for example,
Forty-eight per cent of immigrants of working age don’t work, he said. Even after 15 years in Sweden, their employment rates reach only about 60 per cent. Sweden has the biggest employment gap in Europe between natives and non-natives. In Sweden, where equality is revered, inequality is now entrenched. Forty-two per cent of the long-term unemployed are immigrants… Fifty-eight per cent of welfare payments go to immigrants. Forty-five per cent of children with low test scores are immigrants. Immigrants on average earn less than 40 per cent of Swedes. The majority of people charged with murder, rape and robbery are either first- or second-generation immigrants.
Whilst in Germany even after three generations the large Turkish minority has not integrated. Masses of unintegrated foreigners has not and will not foster the creation of strong communities of diverse individuals getting along and improving society, making it somehow both freer and more equitable as the internationalists so desperately desire. Nor does it contribute to economic well-being.
And let us not forget the impact of wealthy migrants like the Chinese. They have completely changed Richmond, BC beyond all recognition making it yet another congested, polluted Asian city and have been the largest force behind the drastic rise in housing prices in Vancouver, Sydney and Melbourne. Or how family reunification programs are not only disastrous with regards to Trudeau’s new friends. Family reunification is part of the Immigration Act of 1976; back when Justin’s father was Prime Minister. This policy needs to end especially as since 1967 Canada has purposely gone about promoting non-White migration.
Multiculturalism, which has come along with migration, can lead to violent clashes but many studies such as those of Robert Putnam and the Cathie Marsh Institute for Social Research at the University of Manchester have shown that multiculturalism has terrible non-violent side-effects as well. It leads to anti-social behaviour, loss of trust in basic institutions of society and to individuals shutting themselves off from the world.
Evidently we in the West are supposed to open our borders and do everything for others because we have become so weak and suicidaly altruistic that we feel compelled to. This is especially so in so-called settler countries like Canada where apparently because the country was cleared, settled and built from the ground up by Europeans, we have no choice but to let everyone and anyone settle here. Never mind cultural, racial or religious differences or the negative effects it has on the economy or how this will impact the non-White indigenes the left claims to care for so much.
As contempt for the current refugee system and illegal migrants continues to grow with any luck we can turn this into a greater awareness of the problems with immigration in general. However, it is important that cult of immigration is extinguished and sordid and rather meaningless terms like ‘racism’ are scoffed at instead of taken seriously.
